International Credit Mobility
March 23 2022An Eramus + international credit mobility project called international mobility project in higher education supported by the EU’s external policy funds (Key Action 171) is a project involving the mobility of students and staff in higher education between Erasmus+ program member countries and non-associated third countries.
The aim of this action is to enable individual participants to develop their professional skills and deepen their intercultural knowledge through international mobility.
An international mobility project eligible for higher education credits may include one or more of the following activities:
- Incoming and outgoing mobility for higher education students (studies, internships, or combined mobility) lasting between 2 and 12 months, excluding travel time;
- Mobility for higher education teachers and staff (teaching activity, incoming training activity, outgoing training activity or combined mobility) lasting from 5 days to 2 months, excluding travel time.
Mobility must be governed by an Erasmus+ interinstitutional agreement signed between the home and host institutions involved in the mobility.
AgroParisTech is currently participating in three AC171 projects, two of which are in consortium with Kenya (ParisTech) and Senegal (Agreenium), and one project as sole beneficiary with Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Morocco, and Tunisia.
These projects facilitate the emergence of new academic and scientific collaborations and perpetuate the relationships between AgroParisTech and its partners by creating structured modes of cooperation that are integrated into our training programs.
- Project duration: 36 months (August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2028)
- Non-associated third country Partners: Hassan II Agronomic and Veterinary Institute (Morocco), Mohammed VI Polytechnic University-UM6P (Morocco), National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia-INAT (Tunisia),Felix Houphouet-Boigny National Polytechnic Institute (Ivory Coast), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Kumasi (Ghana).
The 2022-26 Objectives and Performance Contract (COP) defines the African continent as a priority for AgroParisTech and provides for the strengthening of our cooperation there. AgroParisTech’s international strategy for 2030 takes these guidelines into account and aims to consolidate the school’s academic relations on the continent, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa and with our long-standing partners around the Mediterranean, on issues of high priority for the region: water and soil management.
