AgroParisTech, CentraleSupélec and ENS Paris-Saclay sign an agreement with France Victimes
February 22 2023AgroParisTech, CentraleSupélec, and École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay have signed an agreement with France Victimes to provide a support service for students and staff who are victims of sexist and sexual violence.
The agreement with France Victimes supplements existing internal programs and provides help and general support to victims of sexist and sexual violence. The France Victimes service is a comprehensive service for students and staff:
- A kind, empathetic, and professional ear;
- Expertise in providing help to victims;
- Comprehensive and multidisciplinary support for victims and their loved ones
The support provided by France Victimes is free of charge for the victims and fully confidential. Through its victim support organizations, France Victimes provides access to lawyers specialized in criminal law, clinical psychologists, and experts in the social field who can set up social support measures.
Calls are received via a dedicated hotline available to all three schools, providing a special listening service with access to:
- Expert listeners, who take the calls of individuals considering themselves to have been victims, provide reassurance, help them identify the acts to which they have been subjected, and provide initial information about the free services provided by local France Victimes organizations in the vicinity;
- A service available every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
